Welcoming the Next Generation of Winter Athletes to Gould

Among the incoming athletes, alpine skiers lead the way, showcasing Gould’s strong tradition in competitive skiing. These students are eager to train and compete in disciplines that demand focus, discipline, and precision. They are joined by an impressive group of freestyle skiers, who bring creativity, determination, and resilience to the slopes. Together, these skiers will not only enhance their athletic skills but also develop lifelong friendships and leadership abilities through Gould’s relationship-based education.  

This year’s cohort also includes a snowboarder and a ski cross racer, further reflecting the diverse talents and interests of Gould’s winter athletes. With their dedication to their respective sports and their curiosity for learning, these students embody the school’s values of courage, creativity, and kindness.  

Gould’s stunning mountain setting provides the perfect backdrop for these young athletes to grow academically, socially, and athletically. Whether carving turns on the slopes, solving problems in the classroom, or contributing to the school’s authentic community, they are sure to make an impact.
