Current Parents

For Current Parents and Families:

We are so proud that you have chosen to trust your student with us at Gould.

It is our honor to guide students to be creative, courageous, and resilient, and lead lives of fulfillment and purpose.

Gould is your school as well. This page is designed to be the first stop for any information you might need to keep track of the daily life of your student at Gould. Also, please know you can call, e-mail, or stop by any time!

Our password-protected parent portal MyGould is a great source of information just for parents: calendars, forms, the school calendar, and your student’s official academic record. This is also where you can update your contact information. If you need help logging in, email helpdesk@gouldacademy.org.

Staying Informed

Every day at Gould is full of activity, work, and adventure! Find the most up-to-date information in the following places:
  • *Look here first: MyGould is our password-protected parent portal where you can find class schedules, weekend activities, key dates, dining hall menus, college reps visiting Gould, how to use Reach for weekend signouts, links to other resources, and your student’s official academic record.
  • Your student's advisor is a helpful person to ask about things like your child's gear needs, his or her well-being, or upcoming activities.
  • An email newsletter is sent to current parents 2-3 times per month. (If you'd like to change your email address, please contact communications@gouldacademy.org)
  • Gould social media pages — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and SmugMug
Gould's Community Guide is 159 pages of information about Gould Academics, Community Life, Rules and Standards, College Counseling, Athletics and Co-Curriculars, Technology, Student Health, Money, and other topics. A link to the Community Guide can be found on the Resources page inside MyGould

Networking Opportunities This Year

The Gould Parents Association is open to all current families at Gould. Throughout the year, the GPA offers various opportunities for families to connect with one another and gain insights into their children’s experiences at Gould. Additionally, the GPA organizes programs to support families during the school year and provides opportunities to directly support Gould and show appreciation to faculty.

Join us in being an active part of the GPA! We encourage all parents to contribute their skills and available time. Regardless of your location or schedule, we have a role for you. You can assist in organizing or hosting events, aiding in fundraising, participating in Gould’s Annual Auction, showing appreciation for faculty, or connecting with other parents.

Sunday River Season Passes

Gould students receive a discounted rate on season passes, provided that they purchase their pass before a designated cut-off date in late fall. Parents purchasing a pass for their child are expected to send in a photo and fill out the necessary forms for Sunday River.

Sunday River will print a new RFID pass for each new student / first-time pass holder who has purchased their pass and submitted a photo and signed waiver. The pass will be delivered to the boarding student's mailbox at school. Renewal passes for returning students will automatically be uploaded to their previously issued RFID pass.

Please note that all students participating in competitive and non-competitive winter mountain activities need a season pass.
