Chris L. Brooks, Esq. ’99, Secretary

Christopher L. Brooks ’99 grew up in Bethel, Maine and is the third generation to have attended Gould Academy.  Christopher joined the Board of Trustees in May of 2015, and is currently a member of the Board’s Executive Committee and Committee on Trustees and Governance, holding the Board’s Secretary position since May of 2017.  As a mogul coach with the Gould Academy Competition Program (through the school’s affiliation with Sunday River) for twenty-two years (and counting), Christopher remains intimately involved with the school’s on-snow programming and development. 
 
Christopher and his wife Leah (together with their soon-to-be born child – expected to be the fourth generation of Gould Academy alumni) live in Portland, Maine and spend many of their weekends in Bethel.  A shareholder with one of Maine’s largest law firms (Drummond, Woodsum & MacMahon), Christopher leads the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group and serves as outside general counsel for a large number of Northern New England’s financial institutions.
