Sarah S. Taymore ’11, P’09

Sarah Taymore  joined the board in 2010 in hopes of giving back and being more engaged with Gould. She is on the Buildings and Grounds, HR and is chair of the Finance committee.  

Sarah is a past parent of two sons Cooper and Crosby.  They graduated as 3-year seniors in 2009 and 2011 respectively.  They were on the freestyle team and competed in moguls.  Cooper pursued a mogul’s coaching career in Breckenridge and Steamboat.  He has since moved to Big Sky and works in Landscaping and in winter, he will cross country ski with his dog, Lizzie.  Crosby is living in Portland (yes Maine) and working in the marine industry as a ship’s engineer on the Great Lakes and property owner in Portland.  He and his fiance Paige are planning a wedding for Sept 2023.

Sarah and her husband Bruce live in the Boston area.  We raised the boys in the North End but now live on the south shore or in Killington VT in the winter.

Sarah currently works at BNY Mellon out of Boston as a project manager supporting the Wealth Management business. She has a background in technology support as a business analyst and has worked as a business expert on cyber security.  

Sarah’s hobbies include downhill skiing, hiking, biking, gardening, and boating.  Sarah and Bruce have lived aboard our vessel in the summers until COVID. They plan to get back as soon as possible.
