End-of-year schedule and campus departure dates and procedures

Dear Gould families,

The second semester is in full swing, and we are looking forward to the Winter Carnival, Snow Ball, snow sports competitions, and March Four Point adventures. Before you know it, it will be spring, and we will be planning end-of-year celebrations. Students will be wrapping up another unforgettable year at Gould and making plans to depart the mountains of Maine for home.

  • Graduating seniors and their families received a detailed email outlining specific information about Commencement. If you have any questions, please contact Lindsay Legare
  • Underclass Students (9th-11th graders) and their families: Please note that your child’s obligations end at noon on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Underclass students are encouraged to depart campus after their final obligation. Underclass boarding students who choose to remain on campus after Thursday must attend the formal ceremonies for the senior class.
  • End-of-year travel plans are due for underclass boarding students by May 9. Boarding families: Please reference Gould's Flat Rate Airport Shuttle Schedule to make travel arrangements.
  • All Gould students and families are welcome to attend Commencement on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Each Gould boarding student and their family is encouraged to work with their advisor to develop an end-of-year departure plan. If you have any questions, please contact our Travel Coordinator, Abbey Quinn

At Gould, we have many end-of-year traditions that are both rites of passage and a way for faculty and students to celebrate their time together as it draws to a close. We hope to share many of these celebrations and events with Gould's parents. Please review this list of events that are available for Gould's parents and many are also available on Gould's YouTube page if you are not able to be here in person.

Warmly,

Dr. Clarke, Assistant Head of School
