Gould Basketball Development Camp | August 5-6, 2017
(includes lodging and meals during stay)
Boys, grades 8-9 (based on the 2017-18 school year)
Gould Basketball Development Camp is a program for boys entering grades 8-9 with high skill level that have goals of playing high school varsity basketball and potentially playing in college. Our goal is to help these athletes; develop high level skills, understand the level of dedication required to succeed at the high school varsity and at the college level, and give them an understanding of the college recruiting process.
Gould Basketball Development Camp is designed to offer future high school varsity players and potential college basketball prospects; high-intensity basketball skill training in a competitive environment, an understanding of what it takes to become effective high school players, and knowledge of the areas of focus college coaches look for as they recruit players.
This weekend long camp provides players with access to top instructors, skill training, competitive game play, former/current college players, and prep/college coaches. Players will participate in college style practices, high-intensity skill and conditioning training, and 3 on 3 basketball games/playoffs. Guest speakers will discuss topics such as; what college/prep coaches look for during the recruiting process, expectations of balancing academics with basketball, importance of on court attitude and body language, and the “dangers” of social media.
