Women’s Varsity Soccer Rolls To NEPSAC Semi-Final

On a cold day, the Gould Huskies shut out Tilton School 4-0 to advance to the New England Prepatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class D semi-final on Saturday, November 16.

The Huskies (#3) will face Southfield School (#7) of Brookline, MA on Saturday, November 16 at Yarmouth High School in Maine at 2:00p.m. Visit the NEPSAC site for the official bracket.

In the first half the Huskies applied constant pressure on Tilton, but were only able to finish one goal from Carleigh Leyman, assisted by Delaney Pals.

In the second half Gould came out strong and was able to net three goals by Ali Parker, Delaney Pals, and Lexi Stewart. The goals were assisted by Megan Detels and Elle Burbank.

Keeper Heidi Ohms had the shutout in goal and the team played great defense.

In time honored fashion, the team rang the Gould Victory Bell.
