I hope everyone enjoyed their time off, for some only a brief period, but for those lucky Gouldies, a full two weeks.
Today marks the second day of our winter trimester! As Mark Godomsky reminded us this morning, over 200 people from the Gould community are lucky enough to enjoy the facilities at Sunday River, skiing, riding, teaching, patrolling, learning, etc.
I grew up skiing at the River and I definitely consider it home.
My personal favorite trail is a tie between Escapade and Blind Ambition.
Tell me Glog people, what are your favorite trails!? I wish I could set up a poll.. hmm anyways here’s a picture of Ella (Class of ’13) and Sarah (class of ’12) enjoying the Riv 2 years ago in the early season.
Have a great week everyone and happy Hump Day!
P.S. Today in History (my new weekly addition since I actually am incapable of remembering my camera at Formal Dinner): On December 4th 1991, Terry Anderson, an American journalist, was released by Islamic militants in Lebanon after almost 7 years in captivity. Anderson was kidnapped while covering the long civil war in Lebanon.
