“When you are in Canada, you are in Canada”

November 16, 2015

Hello from Quebec!  The kids got out for a night time ski last night and we skated for an hour this morning.  In an hour or so we are headed out for a classic ski.  The loop of man-made snow at Foret is excellent – 2. 5k with a dusting of natural snow on top.  We are staying in the Boreal lodge, which is trail side.  We can walk right to the trail and ski which is a nice change from other years when we have stayed in Stoneham and it is a 40 minute drive in the morning before skiing.  No other Americans here at the moment other than us, but plenty of Canadians.

“When you are in Canada, you are in Canada” came from Sam on the ride up.  It is another world up here.  We’ll try to keep the postings coming so you can stay on top of our activities!
