What did we do to get so lucky?
It’s been another great week here with wonderful weather, lots of hard work and fun, a great evening of music tonight, and the extra bonus of great action from the Patriots, BC and the Sox. I have to admit that this post will need to be a bit short tonight because I am simultaneously streaming the results of game six before I do one last late night walk around campus. As I write this BC has just gone up on Virginia Tech with 11 seconds and the Red Sox are up 2-1 with 2 outs and 2 on base. And our Residential Rumble has kicked off here at Gould with Davidson getting out to an early lead. I am going to try to let pictures do most of the ‘talking’ as to some of what has been happening at Gould!
For those of you interested in what is going on in our ninth grade Human Geography Class, we have a quiz (it should be easy!) on Apartheid and Genocide tomorrow and will start watching the Frontline special ‘Ghost of Rwanda’. This is challenging but important material. The students are hopefully working on their final projects in which they will be making recommendations to the State Department as to the direction of future U.S. policy to their respective nations. If only our bank accounts were full…
Have a great weekend, John
