Underclass Awards Ceremony 2013

June 5, 2013

This past Sunday we celebrated the tremendous accomplishments of our underclass at our annual academic Underclass Awards Ceremony.

It was a wonderful evening of awards and tradition led off with opening remarks from Katie Davisson Dolbec, MD ’01.

If you couldn’t make it to the ceremony and you missed our live feed, you can watch the ceremony in its entirety.

Also, you can download the complete list of the awards’ descriptions and this year’s recipients, including those teachers who received faculty development awards.

Special to the evening was the announcement of the Jan and Lorenzo Baker Award, presented to Jan and Lorenzo by alumni Tedd Brown II ’85 and Lucas St. Clair ’96, in honor of their 35 years of service to Gould Academy. The new award is bestowed upon a member of the senior class who best exemplifies the qualities that the Bakers fostered: personal courage, an adventurous and creative approach, and a clear vision of him or herself and their world.

Here’s a video of the announcement and presentation ceremony.
