Turkey,Tree and The Perks Of Being a Wallflower

December 5, 2012

Over break, for the Gould’s women’s book club, I read The Perks Of Being a Wallflower, by Stephen Chbosky, and I still have mixed feelings. I also used this as my “adventure read” for english and as part of the assignment we had to write a book review.  Although I was not completely won over by this novel…I’m excited to see the movie! I know, I know, books are suppose to be better than the movies, but I feel like this story has a lot of potential visually.(Plus Emma Watson from Harry Potter is in it!)

I’m really interested in what everyone else thinks about the book so come talk to me!

Also over break I went extreme snowball dress hunting. My mom and I went to Boston and we saw Gould alum Wyatt Costello ’12!

We also put up our Christmas tree, ate some turkey and I worked on college applications.

But now the winter schedule is in full swing, skiing and of course the Christmas countdown!(20 days!!!)

Until next time!

ps. Buddha says, “In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.”
