Top 10 finishes at Eastern Cup Finals!!
The Gould Nordic team just wrapped up the final Eastern Cup weekend with some amazing results! They started out with a distance skate race at Waterville Valley, a new venue to the circuit! Exciting to have a new course in the mix, fun to get back to a traditional new england course, with long hills, twists, rolls, and narrow sections.
Sunday’s classic races were held at Holderness school. Perfect, maybe the best way to describe to conditions and course. First time in ten years I have experienced pack powder and extra blue wax for the Cherri Walsh!! The Gould team has skied a bunch of classic this winter and it showed, three J2 boys in the top ten! Andrew got his first podium finish of the year in 3rd, Caleb was 5th, and Marcus capped a great week with a tenth place finish! Had some Alumni and parent racers getting after it, part of what makes this sport so special. Got to put some kick wax on Molly skis, been a few years since the last time. Must have worked Molly finished 6th.

Sorry for the lack of pictures from Holderness in the mist of waxing and cheering I forgot to snap some pics.
