Tad the Tadpole
I hope you all are enjoying the wonderful weather. Right now it’s late at night on Sunday night, but its still 70 degrees out. Today, Bethel experienced sky rocketing temperatures, and we all got the hint that the spring weather was fast approaching (it couldn’t have happened soon enough). The weather up here has been so weird lately. If I remember correctly, my lax game was canceled last week because of a snow storm, and today it was 86 degrees out? This is crazy!
Anyways, almost the entire school found a way to spend the day outside today, whether it meant studying for tests out in the sun, playing frisbee on the field, or lounging in the adirondack chairs. Meghan and I decided to take a trip to a nearby pond, and catch tadpoles for my end of year biology project. Erin and I decided we were going to test the memory of young tadpoles by putting them through a series of mazes, multiple times. Pictured below is “Tad,” the first tadpole we caught today.
I hope everyone has a great week, and enjoy the hot weather.
Summer is on its way!
