Spring at the Academy and My Talented Classmates

April 23, 2014

Hey everybody!

I hope you’re all enjoying the spring weather we’re finally getting. Warm weather means lots of different things at Gould but it especially means that there are people outside on campus as much as possible. I LOVE spring at Gould and as it’s my last one to enjoy here, I plan to take full advantage of everything spring has to offer.

ANYWAYS. With the May 1st deadline quickly approaching, the seniors around here are making their final college decisions. The amount of college hoodies on campus has definitely increased over the past couple of weeks.

side note: When seniors commit to a college they are allowed to break dress code and  wear a sweatshirt from the college they’re planning on attending.

It’s an important time in the life of a senior and it’s got me thinking about all the things that my classmates will go on to do.

Each person in our class is talented in a different way. I’d like to show you all some examples just to brag a little about our class.

Nika Chislov, who happens to be my best friend, is an incredibly talented photographer, both film and digital.

Anywho, there are so many more things I could brag about for the class of 2014 but I’d be here all day.

I guess my point is, seniors, be proud of what you have accomplished and what you are capable of! We’ve worked hard to get where we are right now, let’s celebrate it!

go class of ’14 and see you all next week!
