Let’s talk about a winning streak, shall we? When it was last announced on Gould Life that the Softball Team was back after a five-year hiatus, and that they had won the first game of their season, how many of you thought, “That’s nice. What a great way to start.” Now how many of you thought that their winning streak would continue?

Well, it has, and it looks like there’s no stopping this team of dominators, which is good given that this Saturday, Gould Academy’s Softball Team plays for the MAISAD Championship against Hebron Academy at 12:30 p.m. here at home. (Go Gould!) And, thanks to Coach Kristina Stevens, if you’ve missed any of our games, you can now catch up on all of the highlights thanks to her game reviews below.

Until then, grab your best blue and gold attire, get ready to yell “Go Gould!” and make a day of it. After all, Saturday is the day for MAISAD championships: Varsity Baseball plays at 4 p.m. at home, while Boys JV Lacrosse and Girls’ Varsity Tennis play away for their respective titles.

From Coach Stevens:

It was a great team win, and the Huskies now look forward to the championship game on Saturday against Hebron Academy at 12:30 p.m.

“The Huskies have not had a softball team since 2010 and are honored to host the MAISAD championship in their first season back in the league,” –Coach Stevens.
