Singin’ in the Rain!

March 24, 2015

Okay, maybe we weren’t singing, but we were undaunted by the rain that fell all day in Xi’an.  Spirits were high as we traveled to the southern part of the city for a wander through the Shaanxi History Museum.  We saw artifacts from, and read about Xi’an from prehistory through the Tang dynasty.  After lunch we walked around the square near the Wild Goose Pagoda.  Then it was back to school for calligraphy and English classes.  Along the way the kids snuck into a bakery and surprised Martha with a slice of cake for her birthday.  All and all another great day!
