Reflections of the Dreamt Self: Paintings by Niccole Ugay

April 5, 2012

Through portraiture that is both raw and idealized, Niccole Ugay expresses her admiration for family, friends, and the strong female influences in her life. These bright, colorful paintings reflect Niccole’s considerable experience in the world of fashion and design while also showcasing a fluent drawing style that is both vulnerable and self-assured. The same could be said about the women featured in her paintings.

April 5th- April 20th in the Owen Art Gallery

Please join us for the opening reception on Thursday, April 5th from 6:30-8:00 pm.
