Rangoons and Boxes and Lamps – Oh My!
We. Are. Producing.
My legs are tired from walking around from workshop to workshop, so I can only imagine how tired the Sophomores are from acting out scenes, hanging from trapezes, sewing clothes, etc. Have a look:
WHEW! The students are seriously turning out some great stuff.
But dinner tonight? Mongolian Hot Pot. Here are some of the toppings, pre-student havoc:
But the day doesn’t end there! Oh no. Each evening, two of the artists introduce themselves and what they do. Sometimes it even includes a demonstration (like Robin’s hilarious improv skit – see the youtube playlist). It’s a great way for the students to get to know all the artists, even when they don’t have a chance to work together.
From the artist presentations, we move into our evening program. Last night it was board game night and tonight is the coveted open dorms (I probably won’t get any photos of that….). Here are some photos from last night.
Tomorrow, we switch it up and students begin a new workshop for the next two days. I will see you then!
