Oh what a night.
Hey everyone, so this past week has been absolutely filled with excitement. To start off, Ms. Wilkerson delivered a brand new baby girl! Osie, is the newest member of the Hedden Family, and the newest resident of Gehring! When Riley was asked how excited he was that he had a new baby sister, he responded that he was very excited, but not only because of the new addition to his family, but also because, “I got a new train table!”
The biggest excitement of the entire weekend was Saturday night however, because it was SNOWBALL! The entire school was ‘dressed to the nines’ and headed off to a formal dinner in Ordway, with special prime rib and other delicious entrees, and then danced off to Bingham where girls were swept off their feet as the entire school swirled around to classic “big band” music. Bingham gym was decorated beautifully, with tall fern trees lining the walls, and white lights streaming the ceiling.
Also, comp skiers had their first races this weekend. Two slalom races took place at Sunday River this weekend, one on Saturday, and the other after on Sunday. (Yes, we had to wake up at 6 to go ski race after having spent the entire night dancing… it was exhausting)
This upcoming week is our last week here at Gould before winter, so it’s gonna be stressful.. But think everyone, just around FOUR MORE DAYS until break, and then a week until Christmas!
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and a great Christmas break! See you in the new year!
