Not So Perfect Storm…

October 26, 2012

They’re calling it Sandy, and comparing it to the “Perfect Storm” of 1991. Even more perfect, so if it’s more perfect, does that make the 1991 storm “Not Quite Perfect”

Sandy is apparently going to be a convergence of 3 big weather systems. The hurricane from the south, the jet stream from the west and a cold front from Canada. All coming together over the New York, New Jersey area. The “Terribly Perfect Storm”

Some forecasters have predicted snow, due to the cold front. And if you were to combine that with other forecasts of up to a foot of rain, some spots could be looking at a lot of the white stuff over Halloween.

Any which way, brace yourselves for “The Storm of the Century” it could be a big one.

And surely the phrase Perfect Storm is in the eye of the beholder.
