Not Small, Fun Sized!
Parents weekend is over, everyone is unpacking their winter clothing, and is ready to tackle the rest of the Fall Trimester.
Over break, Tuti and I ventured all over New England. We stopped at UNH and saw Gould alum Stef Casella’12, pranced around Rhode Island, got lost in Massachusetts, spent our last night in North Conway, and now here we are back in Bethel.
I love Rhode Island. I know I have some Rhode Island haters (Jefe….) but seriously Rhode Island has it all. We have great seafood, beaches, cute little cities, and my favorite coffee milk. I know Rhode Island is small, but that just makes it fun sized. Plus, think about how much money I save on gas getting to places, everything is so close!
Now if you’re not completely sold on Rhode Island here are some fun facts…
-The first circus in the United States was in Newport in 1774.
-Rhode Island is home to the Tennis Hall of Fame.
-The Flying Horse Carousel is the nation’s oldest carousel.
There are so many more mind blowing facts, so don’t underestimate the smallest state!
Until next time!
The Buddha quote of the week is..
