not quite a goodbye
I’ve been thinking for a while now what my last glog entry should be. It came to me in the library on Thursday night, while I sat with a few friends enjoying those last few days. Everyone around me has been discussing saying good bye. “It’s almost time to say good bye”, “What if I never see you again?”. Those who know me know that I’m a pretty positive person, so this talk of goodbye gets me down. So I’m not gonna say goodbye. I’ll say “see yah later”. Goodbye feels so final and so definite. “See yah later” promises a future. Graduation is an emotional time for all, so hopefully this remedies some of my personal emotions. I have to admit, I’ll miss the outgoing senior class a great deal.
On a more personal note:
To my ski girls: good luck in college, you’re all amazing people and will do great things wherever you are.
To my lacrosse and soccer captains and teammates: thank you for all that you taught me. I’ll miss every single one of you.
To the rest of the seniors: good luck, and don’t forget to come visit, Gould will miss you and won’t be the same without you.
I’ll “see yah later”
