Gould Nordic Race – January 23, 2021

Gould had six racers compete at Quarry Road Trails in Waterville on Saturday. We are lucky to have this snowmaking venue to race at during this tough year with snowfall!

All six of the Gould racers were in the top 20, with notable performances by Nate Livingood, who won the race, and Eli Shifrin, who broke into the top ten with a 6th place finish.

The 5.9 km course and times were quick. Here are the top results for Gould athletes:

On the boys’ side

  • Nate Livingood ’22 finished in 1st place
  • Utah Bean ’21 finished 5th
  • Marcus Goodbody ’22 finished 10th
  • Eli Shiffrin ’23 came in 2nd among 9th and 10th graders

For the girls:

  • Eliza Skillings ’21 finished 8th
  • Ella Raymond ’21 finished 20th (12th in age group)
