New faces on the fields

There is new talent joining Gould’s coaching ranks this fall:

New math teacher Jacob Volz will help coach the Cross-Country Running team (as well as Nordic skiing). Adam Leff returns as head coach.

Kristin Otten and Controller Lynn Wilson are coaching the Field Hockey team.

Max Southam ’15 joins the coaching staff of the Mountain Biking team. Peter Southam returns as head coach, assisted by Sarah Kamilewich, Brad Clarke, and John Kimble.

Ed Connelly returns as boys’ varsity Soccer head coach, with Tyler Snowe and KC Gandee assisting.

Alex Newell ’88 continues to coach the golf team. 

Nancy Barstow returns as girls’ JV Soccer coach with Megumi Moses as assistant coach.

In addition to coaching the women’s Alpine team, Alex Norden, who is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, will lead the Strength & Conditioning program this fall along with Parker Gray, Kurt Niiler, John Kimble, and Laurel Fiddler.

IT Specialist Matt Murphy will lead the Aquatic Research & Exploration co-curricular with Marlon Family IDEAS Center Director Paul Haberstroh.

Kristen Drew continues with the Equestrian Team.

Todd Siekman and Doug Alford continue to lead the Outing Club.

Colin Penley leads the Theater Program again with Peter Moses and Courtney Cook.

Dave Bean returns as head Skateboarding coach.

Tracey Wilkerson leads Farm & Forest.
