Mali Talk Underscores the Complexity of Global Issues

Gould AP Government students enjoyed hearing geologist Andrew Stancioff speak about Mali’s history, culture, and politics on Tuesday night in Trustee’s Auditorium. Stancioff focused on ethnic and religious differences in Mali, and how geography and history have shaped conflict there. Students learned about the complexity of African society and culture.
