Congratulations to Women’s Varsity Soccer for winning their 3rd consecutive MAISAD championship!

I have no idea what MAISAD stands for but I know it’s a big deal. Gould faced off today against Hebron Academy in the championship, as 100+ people came out to support them. Students, faculty, parents, and kids came out to show their school spirit! Here are a bunch of students struggling to stay warm:

The game started off slow but they eventually put one in. Ali Parker ’16 scored the first goal off a penalty, and then they put two more in after that!

The game was full of hard play from both teams, and Hebron scored a late goal in the last ten minutes. The final score was 3-1 which means Gould will move on to NEPSACS, (I also don’t know what that stands for!) but it’s tournament with the top schools in New England! Good luck to the girls!

See you next Friday!

    Hello Cullen,
Thanks for the great article on the Women’s Soccer Championship yesterday. My Congratulations to them and what a fine way to play as the Fall Season nears its end.
Here is a bit of information from an old timer:
MAISAD is Maine Association of Independent Schools Athletic Directors and NEPSAC is New England Prepatory Schools Athletic Council.
Once again Thanks for keeping us informed with your Glog and please express my best wishes to the Women in their play in the NEPSACs.
