Maine SK8 Series 2013, Race for the Overall Winner

May 19, 2013

In this year’s Maine SK8 Series three skaters have been battling it out for first place and a certificate to attend Camp Woodward for a week this summer.  It all comes down to how they do at the final jam in Bethel on Wednesday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m.

Here’s how they are each doing so far.

Eli Davis: 5th at Bath, 6th at Old Town, 1st at Anti-Gravity Center, 1st at Portland, 2nd at Oxford Hills, and 1st at Augusta (16 points total)

Shamus Malia: 1st at Bath, 9th at Old Town, 2nd at Anti-Gravity Center, 3rd at Portland, 3rd at Oxford Hills, and 4th at Augusta ( 22 points total)

T.C. Wilson: 6th at Bath, 11th at Old Town, 3rd at Anti-Gravity Center, 4th at Portland, 13th at Oxford Hills, and 3rd at Augusta (40 points total)

The skater who rides all seven Maine SK8 Series events and has the best overall results wins the series and a week at Camp Woodward.  As listed above, the lowest point holder wins.

See you in Bethel on Wednesday, May 22!  If the weather is good we’ll be at the Bethel Skatepark.  If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll skate the Gould Academy park.  Bring your helmet for that one.  They’re required.
