Let’s get off the stranger basis

September 28, 2013

Since it is the new year, and therefore new Gloggers have been added, I think introductions are inevitable. I’ll try not to be too boring with my information! So following in Aiden’s footsteps…

My name is Natalie Hereford and I am a Junior here at Gould and I’m a proud member of our Reachout team.

Over the summer, my dad decided that he wanted to get a new puppy and my siblings and I were beyond excited. His name is Duncan, and he is the most handsome red retriever you will ever meet.

Also, my sister is a senior this year at the University of Washington in Washington state. She wanted to bring her car out this year and so she invited me along on her unforgettable journey. It was probably one of the best experiences of my life. We took the north route and I have to say, Montana is my favorite state by far. Montana is known as the big sky state and that is no lie. I was blown away by the compete beauty of it all.

As for sports, I’m no prodigy… This is my second year ever playing soccer (I’m on Junior Varsity of course), my freshman year was my first year of skiing, and my sophomore year I was a part of the Prep Alpine team and I probably will be skiing with them again this year. For some reason I had no idea Gould was a skiing-oriented school before I came, but I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to learn how to ski with the ski and ride program! As for the spring, I have played lacrosse for 4 years, but who knows, maybe it’s time for me to try something new and experience other spring sports that Gould has to offer! (don’t tell Ms. Stack…)

I think I should end it there and now we are no longer strangers! Also, here is another fact about me, I collect the fortunes from fortune cookies so I’ll leave you with a little quote:

“Welcome” is a powerful word
~fortune cookie #1.

P.S. Welcome back alumni!

I was just going to say the same thing! I think we have a very similar picture, don’t we?? One of our favorite stops on our entire cross-country trek.
Ahhh. Excuse me while I reflect and enjoy the 12 year old memories. Great post, Natalie.
