Last Basketball Game as a Gouldie
I wanted to write about the basketball game I played yesterday – the last game of the season against Hebron. We came out ready to play, to end the season nicely (win!), but most importantly, to have fun as coach Newall often says. We did exactly that; we played great on both ends of the court and we routed our opponent by about 40 points. Surely, it was a great way to end the season.
Since I am a senior, it was my last game of basketball in Gould. When I say it like that, it’s a funny feeling, which once again reminds me that I am in the last year of high school. It leads to other realizations: I was accepted in few colleges and graduation will be in less than 4 months.
Ever since I first played basketball in Hong Kong, it has been my favorite sport and it was a pleasure playing in Gould. I would like to thank Mr. Newall, Mr. Dock and my teammates for another great year.
I though the team picture would have been taken by the last game, but apparently not (team picture day is Tuesday next week, the last week of winter trimester). As soon as the team picture comes out, I will upload it here.
See you next week!
