Killington Hosts Rail 2 Riches.

December 13, 2012

This past weekend Killington hosted the most anticipated Rail Jam on the East Coast.  Rails 2 Riches is an early season east coast classic.  With a $20,000 Cash Purse, competitors flock to Vermont for all around the US and Canada to throw down their best jib tricks.

This season’s setup was fitting as always!  There was a mellow elbow kink, an 8in round tube down-flat-down, and a killer closeout pad.  With over 4 hours of rail-shredding, the riding got really intense and some amazing tricks went down.

Part of what makes this event so covenanted is the opportunity for some of the talented young jibbers from the East to compete alongside a few of the best know rail riders in the game.   Charlie Dayton, and Blake Bejan managed to snag spots this year and did a great job throwing down.

Charlie even got some love on a recap.

With an onslaught of media-credential clad photographers and videographers, there are still plenty of “unofficial” angles of the action.  Nick Beauregard shimmied his way into some great spots over the course of the event and put together his own collection of footage.  You can check out Nick’s perspective on his Vimeo page here!

Thanks for all the posts. I was delighted to see what the team was up to in Colorado – everyone looks great! And it was fun to see the Rails to Riches action, including our very own Charlie Dayton in the pictures!

Also impressed with what the Sunday River crew has down for moguls and park. Nice going:)
