Hill Week!

October 29, 2012

After a hard week of intervals we transitioned to a hill focused week that mixed in a good variety of training in several gorgeous spots around the area. As fall sets in everyone is looking forward to the ski season and can’t wait to get on snow. Thanksgiving camp is in our sights and has officially made an appearance on Coach Kline’s big office calendar. We are all crossing our fingers that Hurricane Sandy turns into Hurricane Snowy!

Everyone enjoyed a morning specific strength session with amazing views from the top of Paradise Road.  Sadie on single stick repeats.

Hill week kicked off with some no pole skate sessions up the Jordan Bowl access road. It was steep! The boys are working on getting fluid body movements and being dynamic in their V1.

Trent cruising to the top of the Jordan Bowl access road.

Kicking off the 2012/2013 BKL Season with an afternoon of ski games (Simon Says Spenst anybody?!).

Getting our ski swap on and snatching up great deals at this years 2012 Bethel Outing Club Ski Sale! Plus it benefits our local BKL program, one of our main feeders for future Gould Nordic skiers!
