Halfway There

Exam week at Gould is one of the most stressful times of the year. Its more difficult than deciding what pair of skis to get or how to decorate your room. Exam week is when everyone suddenly discovers the library and the cafe suddenly becomes a study space. To help you you get through your last stretch of fall exams here are some ways to reduce stress and finish strong.

Take a break. Watch a sports game, go to the gym, play a round of cards, call a friend, or even take a nap give your brain a well deserved break.

Study in groups. Get a group of friends who have the same finial as you and work together. Whether its drilling each other with French vocal words or proof reading their English paper. Reading someone else’s paper will also help yours.

Find a quite place. Whether it be the library, your dorm room, or an advisors class room. Find a space you work best in and just work. Put your headphones in and turn your phone off, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish in an hour.
