Gould Around the Country

Gould Life in Bethel Maine
The week started off with Revisit Day..  Families were invited to slide the snow on Sunday and then attend a desert social in Ordway. Lots of smiling faces as the on hill, as conditions were exceptional. The following day the prospective students went to class, while their parents had question time with the deans.

Lunch was busier than usual with extra people in the dining room… this lead to more heat in the room, resulting in the beautiful pink cake which I had made for Stef Cassellas birthday to slide slowly to the floor before she had even seen it…. Best laid plans?

Tuesday was the Senior 4pt dinner; this is one of my personal favorites. The students are invited to sit with 2 staff members enjoy a scrumptious meal and then present their 4 point project to the table.  Its always amazing to see what they get up to, our table went to China, Freeport Me, Hudson River New York, New Hampshire, Kentucky and through all the states between Seattle and Washington DC.

As I write this I am sat on the bus with the boys varsity lax team heading to Berwick Academy for the game, while the girls were getting hyped up to play Berwick Academy at home. Good luck to both teams I will be tweeting result after each quarter find me at @britchick59 on Twitter.

Gould Life In Copper CO

So I (Chris) am in Copper CO with 3 full time students Cole, Jonathan and Bo, and 20 development GACP rider at the USASA Nationals. We’re having a great week, with lots of great results, with 4 podiums so far, and 1 more day to go. Follow daily up dates on twitter @ridegould #usasanats

Unfortunately both LAX teams lost, boys 9-6  and girls 12-11 in the last 90 seconds. We will live to fight another day
