Gould Academy’s Adventures
This week has been crazy, and with finals season and early collage apps due right around the corner, it is only going to get busier. Most teams are finishing up their seasons today. The girls varsity soccer team had a good run at MAISAD finals yet were scored on in the first 15 minutes of the game, and couldn’t quite get it back. Many girls saw playing time in this game which was awesome. I hope all the other teams did well! Last Monday a friend of mine, Seana Siekman and I went to visit collages near Boston. We saw Bentley and Brandeis which we both really liked. Collage touring season is coming to an end, while we all put the final touches on our applications.
On a different note, as Tom Duggan talked about earlier, the pottery classes at GA fired one of the only high school wood kiln’s in the country on Friday. Each student with pottery in the kiln went on their shift to help keep the fire going at the correct temperature. My shift was from 6am-8am so I was up early sharing some hot cocoa with Woody, our pottery teacher. Here are some pictures from that morning. Leave comments and questions about this experience or anything else!
Until next week,
