Gould Academy Unveils New Legacy Award
Since 1836, students have been coming to Bethel, Maine for a Gould Academy education. Living and learning here has been a treasured tradition–one shared today by many generations. These families of alumni will tell you that they share a unique bond–something that can never be replicated, never taken away.
To make it easier for children and grandchildren of alumni to continue the legacy of a Gould Academy education, a new Legacy Award has been created. This award – in the amount of $10,000 for boarding students and $5,000 for day students – is designed to benefit the children and grandchildren of Gould alumni.
The scholarship will be awarded to a select number of applicants applying for grades nine through postgraduate who are Gould Academy legacies. Students must qualify for admission to Gould Academy and have demonstrated academic and social leadership skills. Families who are eligible may also apply for need-based financial aid in addition to this award.
There is no separate application required. If you are interested in learning more about Gould Academy or the Legacy Award, please contact Chris Sparks, Director of Admissions, at (207) 824-7782 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In an environment that values both individuality and community, Gould students earn the confidence, self-direction, and capacity for global thinking that equips them for purposeful lives of active citizenship and self-define success in our world. Our hope is that this Legacy Award helps families continue their Gould education for many generations to come.
