BETHEL, Maine – Gould Academy has hired Tufts University development professional Jeff Candura as the new director of advancement.

Jeff will be a good fit for the advancement office and the Gould community.”

Candura will leave Tufts University after six successful years in fundraising. Most recently he was the associate director of the Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences and Engineering, where he and his staff oversaw the frontline fundraising efforts for an $8.1 million annual fund.

“Gould is a special place with a rich history and a bright future,” said Candura. “I am excited and honored to join the Gould community in Bethel and around the world to help advance the mission of the school.”

Candura is a graduate of Ithaca College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2001. In 2005 he earned his Master of Public Administration at the University of Colorado at Denver.
