Gould Academy Competition Program Announces Partnership with L.L.Bean
Bethel, Maine (October 14, 2015) – The Gould Academy Competition Program (GACP) – a strategic relationship between Gould Academy and Sunday River Resort – is pleased to announce a new outerwear partnership with the well known and loved Maine brand L.L.Bean.
“We’re incredibly excited to work with a company as highly respected as L.L.Bean,” Kurt Simard, Director of On Snow Programs for Gould Academy, says. “Their commitment to quality products and ability to foster a love and appreciation for the outdoors is rivaled only by our own.”
With an on-mountain training facility at Sunday River Resort, located just six miles from Gould Academy’s campus, full-time GACP student-athletes are on-snow daily and depend upon rugged, technical outerwear to keep them warm, dry, and competitive.
GACP also serves as the weekend training program for Sunday River, and to hundreds of season passholders ages 8 through 18 who come to the resort from around New England to train and compete with the program’s many professional alpine, freestyle, and snowboard coaches.
Through this new partnership, all GACP coaches will be provided jackets and both full-time and weekend GACP athletes will have access to the GACP-branded L.L.Bean outerwear.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Gould Academy Competition Program and their student athletes. We know that our outerwear will help keep them comfortable on the slopes as they train for their next milestone. This partnership is a great fit for our brand,”Christina Semanyshyn, Strategic Partnerships and Product Placement Manager at L.L.Bean, says.
