Fryeburg Fair Trip Friday October 5
It is almost time to make our annual trip to the largest agriculture fair in Maine. Next Friday, October 5 the ninth grade class, the ninth grade mentors, and our visiting friends from China will leave from the Bell tower at 5pm and return around 10pm. In between we will explore the many food booths, animal barns, ride the many carnival rides, try to win at the carnival games, and enjoy each others company at the Fryeburg Fair. The fair is an unique experience that is representative of a part of western Maine not always visible to the Gould community. Friday night is also the Ox pulling followed by Fireworks. Cool!!!
I am personally looking forward to using my rootbeer mug, eating some good food, and seeing what is being fried up for dessert. Last year it was fried pickles, whoopie pies and oreos. What will be new this year? What will the ninth graders try?
Here is a link to check it all out.
Students will need money for food, games and rides, but Gould will cover the cost of admission. It is also important that students are dressed for colder weather.
