Friday: Workshop switch!

March 9, 2015

I got a sneak peek at some of the completed projects yesterday afternoon and I am seriously impressed (and a little jealous! Faculty Sophomore Point anyone?).

Today the students moved on to a new workshop. Let’s see what they’ve been up to:

Our artist/instructors start out each workshop by giving a little presentation on background, safety procedures, and historical information about their trade.

Some completed lamps from the first workshop. Nice!

Artists share some of their own work as well. Here is some fantastic work by Bruce Bulger.

The students got a great start today on a new project. Tonight is BINGO! night, which we are all looking forward to. This afternoon, students will have a chance to take part in some physical activities. Earlier in the week, Mr. Laperle and Ms. Drew had a group of students out on snow bikes. It looks like it was super fun!
