Freeride Boys (and Girl) Head to Vermont
Coach Rosenberg took a small crew to Vermont this weekend for the first two stops of the Ski The East Freeride Tour (http://www.skitheeast.net/events/). The boys left Bethel Friday morning to get an afternoon of skiing in at Sugarbush before the competition on Saturday.
Had some fun exploring the excellent terrain at Sugarbush on Friday.
Saturday was a beautiful bluebird day.
The Crew stretching at the top before the comp (Julia made it!!)
Julia Gettman ’16 in her comp run setting up for the cliff sender
Luke Hayward ’19 sending the cliff on the upper part of the course.
Tucker Hayward ’16 sending…
John Herron sending…
We had an awesome time at Sugarbush with John ending up in 10th for the guys and Julia in 10th for the girls. Tucker ended up in 33rd for the boys and Luke in 37th. We even had time after the comp to go check out the Sugarbush Park which was rad!
Smugs on Sunday was awesome! None of us had been there before so we may have got a little lost on the way. It was all good though and we were fortunate enough to have another bluebird day!
Still waiting on full results from the Smugs competition.
