Food For Thought

January 27, 2016

My mom sends me packages almost every week. Today I received three new books. Totally disregarding the rest of the contents in the box and the ten o’clock bed time tonight, I cracked open the pages and entered the world of runaway kids and mind control. So, in the spirt of books and make believe worlds, I’m going to share with you some of my favorite quotes from books I’ve read and enjoyed.

“A villain is just a victim whose story hasn’t been told” Chris Colfer

“And then something invisible snapped insider her, and that which had come together commenced to fall apart” John Green

“What is real and what is not is for your heart to decide and for your heart to know” Colleen Houck

“If Im so brave, why do I feel like I might just …
scream?” Maria Padian

“They leave holes that cannot be filled, for it is the fate- the genetic and neural fate- of every human being to be a unique individual, to find his own path, to live his own life, to die his own death” Oliver Sacks

As I read, I pick up bits and pieces that the author leaves for the reader to find; thoughts from the character or hidden life messages. Words so perfectly strung together and they cause you endless streams of thought. So, I leave you with food for thought.
