Well its official…Over the weekend I committed to Suffolk University! YAAAAY! I went to Boston on Sunday for revisit day, and it all just kinda felt right. It was unreal feeling. I also got to see my super awesome friend Wyatt, who graduated last year from Gould and is currently finishing up his freshmen year at Suffolk.
I can’t believe it’s all set and final, I’m going to C O L L E G E ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
But also now to touch on a topic quite serious, senioritis. I was just recently talking to my fellow soon-to-be graduate, Sadie James, who will be attending Bates this coming fall, and we are completely contaminated by this ever so toxic disease. Urbandictionary defines senioritis as, “A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.”
My heart goes out to all the seniors living with this disease, but my advice is to keep pushing forward!
Until next time!
ps. This week Buddha says, “You have no cause for anything but gratitude and joy.”
