Bye Bye Beijing, Hello Xi’an

We’ve arrived safely in Xi’an.

Today we made the shift from the current capital of China, Beijing, to the original capital, Xi’an.  The differences were immediately apparent, as we flew in over green fields while the rain teemed down. Then it was off to school and a meeting with our hosts.  A quick greeting from the Director of International Exchanges was followed by student introductions.  When we last saw the students they were getting to know their Chinese hosts.  Lots of smiles and questions.
