Busy, Busy, Busy

March 8, 2012

As most of you have gathered, Gould is on break. And has been since all the students finished their 4 point commitments.

But what you may not know, is this is one of the busiest times of year for the On-Snow programs. With competitions in every corner of the country.

In the last week alone, I know the four departments. Nordic, Snowboard, Alpine and Freestyle. Have been to, or are going to.

  • Ragged Mt NH
  • Okemo VT
  • Waterville Valley
  • Midway Utah
  • Killington VT
  • Steamboat CO
  • Mt Snow VT
  • Titcomb ME
  • Sugarloaf
  • White Face NY
  • Sunday River

And I know I’ve missed some, add to the comments if you know of any others.

Right now I’m in Killington, with some snowboarders. At the USSA Holeshot Tour. This is a Nor-Am event, and part of the qualifying series for the Jnr Worlds. A first for one of our riders ( PJ ) and the second time around for James.

So, busy, busy, busy for us now, with most of the events done by mid April, then the summer and fall planning.

Enjoy the pics from sunny Killington.

PJ, in his first Nor- Am start.

And your fearless Glogger........Me....!

To keep up with all that’s going on. Follow us on Facebook on our Gould Academy Competition Program page. or at the Gould Life page, which has all the Gould blogs and social media pages. Of which the twitter page @ridegould is the most breathtaking of all…..!!!!

All the Best
