Back in the Gould Groove

December 8, 2012

Hello Glog World!

As you already know, Gould is back in session. I feel a little like we went from 0-60 in about 2 seconds. Winter is a crazy time at Gould and the three weeks of school that separate Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks is especially hectic.

For those of you that don’t know me, I’m a competitive alpine ski racer. That makes winter for me even MORE crazed. I train every day of the week except Mondays and travel to races throughout New England. The week before school started, most of the Comp Alpine team returned to school for Thanksgiving ski camp. The camps during vacation give us the opportunity to get in a huge block of full days of training without the stress of school.

Along with all the races and training I’m looking forward to this winter, there’s a few other events around school that everyone is excited for.

  • Snowball. Next weekend, do you have your dress?
  • Yülefest. The day before we leave for break.
  • Saturday class days. 2 in a row. ouch. (I lied. I don’t think anyone is excited about those)

Anywho, it promises to be a great winter.

Below I’ve included a couple pictures of my team

See you next week!
