A little late, but PT, MLK, & BC.
I’m so sorry that this Glog is so late, I totally spaced it last night! but better late than never, right? This week we had saturday classes, so the week seemed a little longer than usual, but it was good. the Basketball team has been doing awesome lately, Joe “Burger Boy” Johnson is a powerhouse, and Scotty “2 hotty” Baribeau is a man not to be messed with.
Due to my annoying ankle, I’m now doing PT (Physical Therapy, or Physical Training, whichever one you want). My sensei and hander-outer of exercises is Derek “Doctor Love” Allison our full time trainer new this year, it can be pretty hard, but it’s pretty fun, and Kiley “Pretzel” Hagerty joins me on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, which is great.
I guess one of the great things about writing this late is that I can talk a little about Martin Luther King day. I don’t want to steal Ms. Wilkerson’s thunder because I bet she writes about it too, but I just want to say how great of a public speaker Joe’s Uncle, Dr Johnson, was. The two AP Gov classes and the Philosophy classes all did presentations, so me and Jonathon “Cowgirl” Parsons did a presentation on Hollywood, it was fun, we showed trailers of Remember the Titans, Glory Road, and Men of Honor. It was interesting to be in the place of the teachers for once.
A lot of my free time these days is spent looking at scholarships, becasue I need to get a lot of money. I applied Early Action to some colleges, including my first choice of Boston College, which was really great news! But college these days is so expensive, especially BC, that I it may cost too much for me to go, feel free to make donations to the Marty-goes-to-college fund, I’m just kidding…kind of. So I’ve been looking at a lot of scholarships to try and make as much money as I can.
Well, I apologize again for writing this so late, but I promise to be on time next week. Have a great week everyone.
