A Fully Packed Weekend!
In case you did not know, I feel lucky to be assigned Sunday, because this is the time when I reflect on my weekend (and probably weekdays, if I still remember).
I have a fully packed weekend!
- I turned 19 yesterday, and to celebrate my last year of being a teenager, Mrs. Whittington took a group of people including me to her camp house – we played Taboo, had a barbecue, went kayaking and rowing for 10 minutes before it started pouring down. It was undoubtedly one of my best birthdays!
- Today, Mr. Southam took us on a campus tour. No, it is NOT like any other campus tour. We went to places that we have absolutely no access to. There were some sketchy stairs, but I felt as if I were ready to graduate after climbing to Gehring’s cupola! (Cupola – new word learned today for me.)

- The musical! I was an avid fan. Keeping in mind that I will just relax during this special weekend, I went to A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to The Forum opening show. It was magnificent, hysterical, *insert a very positive adjective here*, which was the reason I went to see it…twice more. As a result, one of the songs is stuck in my head. My Gould friends as well as our Telstar guests were so funny and amazing!
- Gould’s Annual Student Art Show – chocolate fondue, mmm. Oh, great art too, of course. I have one photograph in there myself, but if you have a chance to visit, you will see that Gould is full of artists from all over the world…
Anyway, that is how my weekend was spent – I can honestly say that it was one of the best weekends I’ve ever had here, considering how much I’ve experienced. With graduation approaching ( :< ), I am glad my weekend is well-spent.
Have a great week ahead, and see you all next time.
