Usually, Gould’s Winter Carnival is a day of games and fun competitions outside in the snow. We’re a little short on the snow this year, so unfortunately, the Carnival was cancelled. Instead, we had the day off yesterday! The chance to sleep-in was fantastic.

On both Wednesday and Thursday, the Nordic team has been doing some traveling to find some snow…and we have! The best skiing around is just about an hour’s drive from Gould. Feeling a little snow-deprived lately, we’ve been putting in some distance on gorgeously snowy trails.

Winter term is winding down. Classwork is geared towards finishing up with cumlinating tests and chances to re-write essays. As the official sport season ends, teams are competing at NEPSACs (New England Private School Athletic Conferece). Gould Alpine won, and Nordic will host NEPSACs right on campus next week!

Only one more Friday until 4-point/break!
