So we’ve made it through the first week back from break. The whole classes and homework thing has been a bit of a shock, but at the same time I realize that it’s great to be back with friends here at Gould.
Each year at Gould we celebrate Martin Luther King Day with a day of remembering and learning. This year my AP US History class will be leading workshops on MLK day that we’ve started to work on this week. In the past I have only ever attended the workshops that older students have led, so now I’m looking forward to leading one.
There has also been a lot of talk about exciting new renovations that will soon take place in Hanscom Hall…I’ve heard rumors of a cafe and a library that you can talk in and not get kicked out. We’ll see what happens.
The Telstar Relays are tomorrow! The Gould nordic team always gets excited about this fast-paced and rather hectic but super fun race. The course is fairly spectator-friendly, so come on out to Telstar if you want to watch.
